  • Overview

    The Concessions Attendant ensures courteous greeting of all patrons, is responsible for the daily set up and service of the walk up venues of our Hot Dog Cart & Food Truck, preps and prepares Hot Dogs and all sandwich items from the menu of the food truck, involves use of a knife for prep and basic culinary skills. Sells product to guests and is able to handle the cash transaction with our POS system, assists with food prep, re-stocking and cleaning. Must assist in other departments or with other job duties as requested or necessary


    • Arrives to work on time and in uniform.
    • Responsible for set up, maintenance, and operation of the walk up food operations.
    • Works cooking equipment to prepare sandwiches and other food items.
    • Operates the POS register system, collects currency and gives receipt with every transaction.
    • Ensures standards of appearance and sanitation are maintained on a daily basis.
    • Keeps all areas clean, sanitary and fully stocked. Replenishes service lines as needed.
    • Checks supplies, prep lists, and ensures all items are prepared and stocked in a timely and sanitary fashion.
    • Works in designated station.
    • Follows all set recipes and standards as set by company.
    • Prepares items from menu from recipe and to standards set by Executive Chef.
    • Communicates when items are running low or need to be ordered to sous chef or location chef when and as needed.
    • Assist with putting away orders and keeping clean and neat storage areas to include walk-ins, refrigerators and coolers.
    • Cleans and maintains kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, pots, pans, glassware, tables, refrigerators, deep fat fryers, ovens, ranges and all other work areas in accordance with sanitation regulations.
    • May assist with stocking and inventory control, unloading of trucks, organization of storeroom, etc.
    • Follows all cleaning and safety procedures. Uses caution around machinery.
    • Maintains proper service and cleanliness of concession areas; including: follows closing list, removal of grey water daily, trash removal and daily sweeping and mopping.
    • Participates in ongoing training and the GPC sanitation program.
    • Takes part in all sales goals and greets and informs guests of promotions.
    • Sells menu items from cart/truck and makes yes-yes choices available to the guest.
    • May periodically train new employees or staff from other departments.
    • Assists in other departments, or with other duties as required.

    Ideal Experience

    • Must be 18 years of age or older.
    • Previous F&B experience in both FOH & BOH operations preferred.
    • Hospitality POS systems experience desirable. 
    • Must have goodguest service skills.
    • Must have knowledge of cash handling, making change, general accounting.
    • Strong interpersonal skills required. 
    • Must be pleasant, helpful, friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic and courteous in dealing with guests and co-workers.
    • Must be team-oriented, positive and upbeat.
    • Able to handle guest concerns in a tactful and caring manner.
    • Must be able to work varied shifts.
    • Must possess neat and pleasant grooming habits.

    • Must bring a keen eye for detail, organization, safety and cleanliness to improve GPC front-of-house culinary operations.

    • Must process information quickly and take initiative to recommend solutions to F&B challenges.

    The successful candidate must be willing to relocate to Montana and must be eligible to work in the United States. 

    Work Environment

    • Non-smoking environment
    • High volume F&B operations in a National Park outdoor concession setting.
    • Job requires constant walking, bending, the frequent use of stairs, handling, reaching, grasping, lifting 50 lbs., and repetitive motions.
    • Position will require working in varying temperatures and weather conditions, also includes coolers and freezers.
    • Position requires flexible scheduling, including weekends, holidays, split shifts, etc.
